Well, im glad to hear that you are all returning to school! It seems like Mark and Jared have tons of my past teacher, so that should be super fun! No sean chupamedias (teachers pets) jajaja.
Well, we have been very blessed lately! My new comp is super awesome. His name is Elder Cahcari from La Paz, Bolivia. Hes been out in the mission for about 8 months and is super dedicated. He wants to work hard, he teaches super well, he has a strong testimony, and we get aong very well!
So, someting super fun this week, we went on divisions with a greenie from the CCM!!!! So an Elder that had been in the CCM for 3 weeks was with us for like 3 hours!!! It was super fun! We taught a cool lesson, got some portazos (slammed doors) and ae some cool candie chilean that he had eaten! He had a super strong tesimony and t was fun to be with him!
Well, my comp and i this week finally found a reference that we had recieved from members about a month ago!!!! Well, the mom is a member and has 3 kids. Her husband isnt a member but wast home, but there was another man in the house so we were able to enter! Well, we had an amazing lesson. The kids a sooo well mannered and they all want to get baptized and the mom wants to return to church!!!! So that was a huge miracle!

Work, Work, and Work!

Buena buena los cabros!!!!!!
Yeah that frase is a lot better with chilean pronuncation….. sorry, youll hear it sometime if i come home, jajaja.
Well, sounds like all is tranquilito up there in Utah (in Chile they say Yuta, ask stephen to pronounce that word because the y is like a j sound here) but yeah, just chilling before school starts again!
Well, all is well here, we are just doing the Lords work and doing His will. We have been tried a lit this past week, but with trials comes understanding, learning, and growth! So its always good to have trials, its one of the reason we are here, so that we grow and learn!
Well, we had an awesome investigador come to Church! So it was a miracle, my comp and i were contacting in a few alley ways with houses and we left this alley and we just felt like we needed to pass by this antiguo investigador. Like, we tried to contact him like a month ago without success, his number was wrong, but we were just like “yeah lets visit him” Well, it was a prompting from the Spirit, of course. We walked on over and he was moving a drying machine in his house (havent used one of those in a while!). Well, we helped and he said, “Did you come to help or did you come for me?” well we told him that we came to talk with him. We had a short, but spiritual lesson and he told us that he was going to be baptized about 6 months ago, but that he left in an emergency to Perú. Well, he came back and is now progresing a ton! I testify that the Spirit does help and guide us as we strive to do the Lords work!
Another awesome thing that i have been trying to do is, in every moment, ask myself “What would Christ do?” Sounds funny, but i feel the sprit more strongly as i earnestly greet people with a smile, as i try to love and compliment those that i work with, and as i dont say things that could hurt and offend. Truely living a Christ like life is a better, happier, cleaner life.

It’s snot funny that we have been sick…

Hey guys!!!!!! Wow, sounds like you are just exhausted but that everything came out a success!!! That is super awesome! ANd now you have time to relax and enjoy that last two weeks of summer…. oh gosh… i get home after this school year…….. yeah just dont go to school so i dont have to come home, jajaja
well, i tried to put a funny pun in the title! But yeah, this has been an interesting week! Ill tell you how it started….
Once upon a time for tired missionaries we sleeping when one of then suddenly jumped from his old, noisy upper bunk and ran to the bathroom…. well, my comp got sick. So yeah, all monday and tuesday we barely worked because he was sick. Wednesday he was a lot better and we worked in the afternoon. Thursday i woke up and was SUPER resfriado (Esteban, vos podés traducir porfa?) and yeah, i slept all morning and we worked in the aternoon. Then the rest of the week my comp was better and i had to sleep in themorning because i was just exhausted from my cold…… we worked lots in the afternoons and finished the week!! Well, the Lord saw our faith and our sacrifice and blessed us with health and miracles!!! We finnished the week with a family of three that is getting baptized this weekend!!!! HAHAHA so yeah, sacrifice and obedience bring fourth blessings!!!

Well, i dont have lots of time, but here is a super funny story! We got to Church this weekend in the second hour becuase we were looking for investigadores and we went to the Gospel rinciples class. Well, there were like 12 haitians there….. we didnt even invite any to come, they just keep going and they always invite their firends….. like it is soooo funny!!! There are so many that there are now classes for them so that they can learn spanish!!! So we hope to work with them even more!

Haitian Fever and Real Cold…

Bonswa!!!!! Como nou ye? (Good afternoon, how are you guys?) jajajaj well, my criol is getting a little better!!!!
Well, it sounds like the bike ride was TONS of work, but hey, with the Lords help you lo llevaron a cabo!!! (somebody thats seaks spanish can translate that, i forot it in english, sorry!) jajaja but man, there were trials (they are aLWAYS trials) but with faith there are also TONS of miracles. Speaking of miracles, this week was FULL of them!!!!!
First off, a family of three from Colombia (the parents of our retencion) that were old investigadores of my comp about 3 months ago came back from the norht!!! And, they cam eto church and are going to be ba´tized the 13th!!!!!!!! Such a miracle!!! I just love colombians!! Every colombian i have met is just super funny and happy, like they are the bomb! And their food is super good! (thats always a plus)
Well, my comp and i have just been blown away by all of the miracles we are seeing here in our sector! Like, we have been finding TONS of investigadores with tons of potencial, like its amazing!! And then they are all progressing!!! My comp and i have been talking about it a lot and we know that the Lord is hastening His work here! We have been able to feel a super strong spirit in the lessons as we testify of the truthefullness of our message to everyone. We have been working really hard to truely live the Gospel and be pure just like Christ is, and we have seen that we are happier and that the Spirit testifies even stronger through us as we tell these people that this is the truth and that they need to be baptized! It is just incredibel!
Well, a super funny story, we were in a pieza (a hallways with 10 rooms) and each room is like a house. So yeah, sunday morning and we were passing bout our haitian firnds to go to church with them. Well, while they were all getting ready, a neighbor was playing music so we had a miny dance party with them! jajaja is was super funny, like they were laughing at us gringos as we were doing our typical tontos bailes! jajaj but yeah, then they all went to church (they all dressed so SWAG!!!) jaja and they all loved it! So now we will be working with them so that they get baptized!!!
Anoher funny story, we were in a lesson with a few haitians that dont speak anything of spanish. We were there with a member that speaks criol (their language) english and spanish and we had just finnished the lessin and they offered us a drink. It was ginger (like the root thingy), sugar and water. Wel, the first 10 sips were awesome! And then not soo much…. So i managed about hal of it and then said to my comp “help a brother out” (i had eaten lots of his lunch that day because he couldnt finish it) so yeah, like a realy homie, he drank the rest of my drink! so yeah, sometimes people offer you interesting drinks!!
