The Love Doctors

Well, sounds like it was a great week!!! Mark danced and drove the golf cart (i havent even seena single golf cart in chile….) Stephen went to school and on a few dates. Dad worked, mom also worked, and JAred is just chillin like a villan!!!
Well, this wek has been awesome. AAs youcan probably imagine from the title, there was a big development in the couple!!! SOOOOOOo last monday we got a call from his almost wife and she was like “Hey, ive got news to tell you, we are getting married in December!!!!” So yeah, he poroposed and then went to the Registro Civil and are getting married in December!!! So we are SOOOOO excited for them, and yes, we have been helping a little with the weddingplaning, so we are love doctors (not really, but sounds cool) jajaja.
Besides them, we are working with a few other investigadores We are working with a litle hatian family!!! We also goover withhaitian members and they always correct my poor ability to speak their language, but ohwell, that is how you learn, jajaja.
Hey, i dont now if i have told you, but Elder Rasband and 2 other seventiesa are coming to our mission next month!!!!! i am soooo stoked!!!! It is going to be like the Super Bowl, but for missionaries!!!!! Jajaja anytime there is something like they we always go crazay….. youll understand when your on themission, jajaja
Well, i want to share an amazing story from this week, from yesterday actually. So, we were in the corner of our sector working and i pulled out my agenda to tally up a few numbers. Well, we had the impression to see if a memer was home that lived SUPER faar away…. he brought a friend to church and we wanted totalk with him. so we went. like 30 minutes later, we got there andhe wasn thome….. so we called him and he told us he was by the church. Soooo we walked another 20 minutes to the church. Well, we waited there for like 20 moreminutes (we talked to a few haitians while we waited) anyways, i wanted to leave and keep working, but as i prayed in my head i felt imressed to wait a litlemore. so we waited for like 10 more miutes. Well, we decided to go and headed back to our sector. I was a litle confused about why all this hadhappened andhosetly felt that we had wasted a laittle bit of time. Well, while walking, athe Lord guided us and we were walking in a little patch of grass between the 2 sides of a main street. Well, a woman was walking with her dogs there and she glanced at us as if she had had a question. Well, we walked by and the spirit said “You have to talk to her” So i pulled out my agenda to do the classic “im looking at my agenda as if we were lost so that they people come by and we can talk to them ” missionay trick. Well, we started talking to her about her dogs (anoather good missionary trick) and she imedietly asked “What do you guys do?” Well, we talked for like 20 minutes and set up an appointment to pass by her department in the week. While i was thinking about that i realized the HUGE MIRACLE this was. Our Heavenly Father in His perfect knowledge had prompted us ALL AROUND the sector and told us to go here, go there, wait and go there and HE put is perfectly in the way to talk with one of His daughters. I know and bear testimony that God knows us. He guides us. He knows everyone of His children and He knows when and where we need to be to help them.

And the rain came tumbling down…

Hey!! how is it going back there in the good ol United States??? Sounds like there are football games, homework, and lots of fun and work to do!!!! Jajaja Sounds just like the mission menos football games and homework!! (its so great not worrying about homework!)
Well, as the title says, saturday the rain came tumbling down…. it rained a lot… and we were soaked!!! A funny thing that happened during the rain: We were with a member and we were contacintg. We entered into a little side street where there were a few houses and knoecked on the first door. The rejected us rudely (that happens at times). The next door they also rejected us rudely…. and the next door…. and the next door…. then a nice man talked to us for a little but didnt want to hear our message…. and the rest of the houses the rejected us rudely…. but one of the houses was super funny. So it was just pouring rain and we knocked on the door. A woman oponed the door and imedietly said “Im busy” and i just looked at her and said “We are soaking wet, can we come in?” (that has worked for me before, jajaja) but no… she shut the door……… jajaja so that was funny. You just have to laugh when things like that happen.
Well, we had an amazing lesson this week with this young couple we are working with. We taught them the Law of Chastity. And we felt inspired to promise them that if they got married and baptized, they would find a house that they were looking for. Well, the spirit was in the lesson and it was strong, like brings tears to your eyes strong. So we invited them to go the the Civil Center (Registro Civil in spanish, i dont know what the translation is) and the husband looked at us and said “Well talk about it” and then winked at us without his girfriend seeing. Well on sunday, i asked him about how their conversation went and he told me “I want to propose to her properly before we go!!!” So that is a MASIVE development in their progress. So they should be getting married real soon so that they can get baptized!!!!
Bueno, esta semana quisiera testificar de la divinidad de Jesucristo. Últimamente he estado pensando en Su misericordia y los muchos milagros y las bendiciones que me ha dado. La bendición más grande que nos ha dado es Su expiación, la cual es infinita y real. Sé que no hay nada que sea más poderoso que la expiación. No existe ningún desafío, ninguna tentación ni ningún obstáculo que no podamos superar. Sé que la expiación es real, con todo mi ser lo sé. Sé que al aplicar la expiación a nuestras vidas diariamente, podemos sentir la paz y el gozo que el Salvador siempre nos promete. Doy gracias por la expiación del Salvador y por Su amor y misericordia por nosotros. Dejo este testimonio en el nombre sagrado de nuestro Salvador y Amigo Fiel, Jesucristo, amén.}

Totally Forgot To Write About Changes

Hey guys, how is it going??? Is it getting colder there? Its getting a lot hotter here and i am getting a lot tanner, jajaja!!!
Well, i totally didnt write about changes…. so i didnt have changes, jajaja I will be staying here for a 4th change. That means i have been is each of my 3 sectors for 4 changes….. that is a lot of time, but there are always milagros to find and work to do!!!!
well, aa super awesome milagro happened this week!!!! So we went to church, and this young couple that we have been working with came and everything. Well, the husband payed his first tithing!!!! He isnt even a member and has already started to pay his tithing!!!!! Such a maquina!!!!
Well, another awesome thing that happened, we went to the temple this past week!!! well, we went 2 times, first on saturday we went to 2 converts and this couple. Well the converts got to do baptisms which was awesomse, adn then the couple was allowed to enter into the temple until the recepciòn and sit odown andjust feel the spirit!!!1 It was INCREDIBLE!!!1 It made me sooo happy that they were able to enter into the temple to really feel the spirit and the truthefullness of the Gospel!!!
Then my comp and i went to the temple today in the morning and did a session!!! Wel, the session was amazing!!! I saw an elder that was in the CCM with me (from anohter mission) and then when we were leaving the Celestial room, the asked us to do sealings!! So we gotto be the Children and the witnesses in a few sealings!!! that was the irst time that i had ever done that, so it was super cool!!

Miracles and Clashing Worlds!!!!

Well, i want to start of with an AMAZING story!!!!! Soooooo the other day my comp and i had to return home real quick to grab a french BoM for a haitian. Well, we left and i felt prompted to go a certain way, to take another route that we normaly dont take. Well we walked and walked and passed a man. HE said “HEy, are you Mormon missionaries” And we were like “Yeah, how are you?” and he said “I am from PAlmira, Colombia and just came down here to work, but my kids are members and the misionaries always came to our house” Sooooo, Stephen was in palmira, and i asked him if he knew stephen and he said “Yeah, he was in pamira like 8 months ago!!!” So INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The Spirit totally guided us to take a new path and we ran into an investigador that stephen knew FROM COLOMBIA!!!! So we passed the refence to the other Elders!!!!!!! The Spirit is soooo important in this work!!!
Another awesome miracle this week!!! So we went to our appointment with this young couple we are working with. We got there with a member that is helping them and they had just gotten back from shopping in the center. Well, they were taking our clothes when the husband said “Look, we bought church clothes!!!!” jajajaja that is just the best, when you never talk about this stuff and they just go ahead and do it!!!! Such a Testimony builder!!!
Well, we have also been working really hard with the members to get member referalls!! So this past week wegot 4 and contacted 3. All of them were familias PF (no everyone is a member) and they all have tons of potencial!!! It is sooo important to not only work with members, but to also work with Familias PF so that the whole family can recieve the blessings of the Lord!!!
